What are you doing with your life?

We are all trying to understand life amid our daily routines, our time bound days, weeks and years, our endless search to feel alive and happy. For most of us, it is not easy to figure out what to do with our life and how to spend our time. Our individual needs are increasing by the hour, and we are distracted by so much. We have normalized stress, exhaustion, we applaud busyness, and have become comfortable with the lack of connection we have with ourselves and others. Let us take a step back and look at your life from the outside.

Who are we? Why are we here? What is the significance of life? How can we live life to the fullest? These are just a few of the many existential questions that we face as humans on earth. Many of us desperately search for answers to these hard-to-answer questions. In this workshop we delve deeply into just how WE are all doing life, our routines, how habitual thoughts, feelings and behaviours, our ruminations, and repetitive reactions.

I'm SCARED are YOU?

Welcome to “IM SCARED” the Anxiety Workshop, a fast-paced, 3-session seminar intended to help increase your understanding and knowledge about anxiety.

We will delve deeply into conversation, knowledge and skills related to anxiety. Together we will become curious about anxiety from the level of our mind and body.

The goal is to provide you with some skills to recognize and manage symptoms you may be experiencing, and life-long tools you can use while facing anxiety-triggering situations. Remember, this intervention is not intended to “get rid of” your anxiety.

While occasionally unpleasant, some anxiety can be a helpful and motivating emotion. Our hope is that these three sessions provide you with a jumping board from which to integrate skills into your daily life in the service of reducing anxiety.
